Fun Earrings!
The rectangle earrings are cut out of a German silver sheet metal.(German silver is harder than silver and does not tarnish. It is used to make silverware and musical instruments.) The metal is heated, bent and hammered. Heating the metal creates a really unique patina. The rectangle is folded at the top to form the horizontal top of the cross. A line of seed beads dangles from the center forming the vertical body of the cross. The edges are polished with steel wool and then filed to make them smooth. Every earring will be slightly different which makes your pair a one -of -a -kind!
