On a trip to Israel, I found beautiful olive woods crosses in a store in Bethlehem. The store owners (brothers) make the crosses in a shop below the store. I had to have them to use as the cross on my prayer beads. The cross is Approx. 2-1/4" long and approx. 1- 1/4" across. Jerusalem is stamped on the back. The natural wood colors vary, but they are all unique and beautiful!
These beautiful prayer beads are styled after Anglican prayer beads. They are strung together with a thick beading wire for durability. Natural stone beads are used for the large invitatory bead and fire agates are used for the rows of 7 beads. The larger cruciform beads are faceted AB crystals. The decorative small beads are silver glass beads.
What the Beads Mean: The first bead above the cross is the invitatory bead. It is to invite God into your circle of prayer. Above the invitatory bead is the recently added resurrection bead which reminds us that Christ lives within us. The four large beads in the circle are cruciform beads which forms a cross when imaginary lines are drawn from each bead. The seven beads in between represent the seven days of creation.
Size: Length from top of circle to the bottom of the cross is 9”. The Cross is 2.25 long X1.25" Bead sizes range from seed beads to 12mm.
Included: The prayer beads include a gift bag and an information card that includes what the beads mean and how to use them.
How To Use: Use your prayer beads to spend more time with God and to invite him into your life. Feel His peace and joy! There is no right or wrong way to use your beads. Put them next to your bed. In the morning you will think of Him first. You can just hold them in times of sickness and stress to remind you that you are not alone. How ever you use them, let them remind you, through life’s ups and downs, you are loved!
