The leaves are cut out of German Silver sheet metal.(German silver is harder than silver and does not tarnish. It is used to make silverware and musical instruments.)The metal is heated, bent and hammered for texture and details.The edges are filed and sanded to make them smooth.
I flame painted the German silver with a torch to create the colors, and then I sealed them so they will not change color over time. Dangling from the middle are 2 grey seed beads and a 6mm faceted grey bead . Each pair of earrings are unique. No two are the same.
